In June last year I decided to make the move towards making me feel better about myself. I’ve always been young at heart but after 15 gruelling years my face had taken a turn for the worse, so at 71 I took the plunge. I’d been watching and reading the comments in the Facelift in Bali page and I’d spoken to Natalie Fay and made my first enquiries.

From that first contact and all the way through, I couldn’t fault the Beverly Wilshire team. Kiran was amazing and answered all my questions and organised a phone consult with Dr Nasir. The journey began, surgery booked for the 25th October 2025. I was booked to have a full facelift, neck lift and forehead lift.

No query was too much for any of the team and I booked accommodation and flights and off I went. I can highly recommend all of the BW staff, starting with Ian who picked me up from the airport and took me to all my appointments. Meeting Dr Nasir in person was a real treat. He is so warm and accommodating and he settled any fears that I had.

The room at the BW was beautiful and the nursing staff were wonderful. Surgery went amazingly well and my every wish and need was met with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. I stayed for two nights and left to go to Park Royal Suites for my recovery. It was all so easy, a little uncomfortable at times but no pain to speak of.

I met the beautiful Rosalind Charles who attended to all my needs and introduced me to some beautiful ladies going on a similar journey. The healing process was easy and I probably didn’t sit still as much as I should have, but I loved exploring the wonderful city of KL.

I struggled a little trying to recognise myself in the mirror as I thought I looked like a toad, but as time went on I could see the healing and I was thrilled with the results. I must say that everything was taken care of for me and nothing was a bother.
